My first grand was the Stieff ~6' at my old church (amazing how willing churches are to accept donations;-), it was much older than 60, but it still opened my eyes - and ears - to things I'd only read or heard about. Sure beat trying to set a temperament on an altitude challenged vertical noisebox with wound and/or bichords extending into the temperament octave. Grands _are_ funner than the other things, aren't they?
