Hi Susan,

1. click start
2. select program
3. click ms-dos prompt
you should now see
c:\windows>
4. change to the folder where you download the *kill* program (example cd
c:\download)
Don't forget that dos can only have 8 characters in a file prefix (as
12345678.123). If your is longer that 8 then if may be something like cd
c:\downloa~1
5. type the name of the program (someting like ki**_cih the filters on this
list killed my previous message) and press enter.
If you don't have the virus you should see:
the w95.cih virus was not in memory.
If so you are home free and can just close the dos window.

If not then it will say the virus has been inactivated, and then you can
run your virus and remove it from the infected files!
