Hi Richard,
I was so busy picking on you, I didn't answer your question. Sorry 'bout
that. The tuning pin sizes listed in Schaff catalog are 1/O - 7/O. I don't
know what the metric size steps are, but here's a quickie chart to show
where 0,1mm increments fit with the American "system", in inches.

6.6mm=.26
6.7mm=.264
6.8mm=.268
6.9mm=,272
7.0mm=.276
  1/0=.276
7.1mm=.28
  2/0=.282
7.2mm=.284
  3/0=.286
7.3mm=.287
  4/0=.291
7.4mm=.291
7.5mm=.295
  5/0=.296
7.6mm=.299
  6/0=.301
7.7mm=.303
  7/0=.307
7.8mm=.307
7.9mm=.311
8.0mm=.315

The old rolled thread pins varied considerably in diameter from pin to pin,
and from one end of the pin to the other, too often with the bigger
measurement at the bottom of the pin. To get a predictable result with
these, you had to mic every one in at least two places and sort them for
size and usability. They proved to be too much of a problem when the denser
blocks like Delignit and Falconwood came along and pretty much everyone went
to cut thread pins, which seem to be more uniformly sized.
