Yes Richard, I live in Holland....
where 'tis dark, and winds are howling through empty polders, wolves ready
for the finale, the water in the canals are about to overflow the already
tortured lands, piano soundboards pop out spontaneously, the natives huddle
together in cold misery and the "luckier ones" have almost all bought their
escape tickets to happier places, those who haven't got their entry papers
to a better world will go as soon as is possible under these dire
circumstances...Willem Buijs is ready to leave and will go soon, if he
hasn't already gone, and I ?
I am longing for the tropics, the Bahamas, Florida, Thailand, Singapore,
Southern California, Hawaii of all places!
