Just had a thought today. (That's the trouble with tuning, I sometimes think too much.) Had a piano with a lot of "cheating" jacks. One could play forte but no louder. Has anyone tried missetting jacks and telling the music director or pianist that if they try to play very loud, the piano will not play but the strings will not break?
