Hello, and welcome to the list. I did a business survey of the Dallas
area a couple of years ago when I was still just a piano technology
student. The average cost of a tuning was around $60 to $65. The range
was $45 to $120. RPT's (that is Registered Piano Technicians of the
Piano Technicians Guild) tended to charge in the higher end of the
range.

A Big Mac here is closer to $2.00.
