Hi all, >From: "Andrew V Kozlowski" <ANDYKOZ@prodigy.net> > >I replaced a set of key tops on a piano I own using PVCE glue. I thought I had cleaned them pretty >good. About 2 weeks later I'm seeing dust settle on the residue from the glue >I had sloppily left on them. Does anyone know of a way I can safely remove the mess I >created? > >Andy Well, Andy, as some one else posted, just rub the excess off with your finger or thumb. It rolls up into a ball for me off of glossy surfaces. Note: I'm working with finger tips so caloused that I cut the tip of my thumb with the table saw a few years back, and it hardly bled. I've still got 10 pinkies, and with that little wake up call, I think I'll keep 'em. A sharp blade makes for a nicer looking wound also ....... not all gnarly and ragged like I had. Cleaning the debris out of the cut from the teeth of the saw blade was a matter of letting nature take it's course.
