Terminology: vernacular vs latinate

 I like the good ol'e English words to describe piano parts and theri
 functions. I have a hard enough time trying to explain what a wippen is, much
 less learning the latin for it, and then explaining what that term means, and
 then explaining what it does. Lets follow the good old rule of KISS.

A perfectly good new list has been created for all the Horse  (explative
deleted).  Could we please talk, literally,  about "Piano Parts and Their
Functions"?
