AS a dealer I don't believe in selling any piano that we can not give
a 2yr parts and labour warranty, with the thought that we are giving
nothing away. Our reputation and company growth depends on word of mouth,
from the major influencers in the market place, ( piano techs & music
teachers) your thoughts of this dealer is a case in point.
Back on my education soap box. Try to tactfully in making this dealer
aware that you can not recommend his company if he persist in this kind of
practice. Unless he under stands how he is shooting himself in the foot, he
will never change.
Make others in your chapter aware of the problem, it is suprising what a
collective opinion can achieve.
