For what it's worth (you already know that free advice is worth exactly what you pay for it), I've never done any TUNING or REPAIR business as a result of my web site. However, I also offer the Barcus-Barry piano mic for sale on my web site as well as a line of commercial loudspeakers. I've been pretty successful selling the BBE piano mic over the net - at least enough to pay for the server space. As for pure piano business, well, all I've gotten so far is requests for "free" appraisals, i.e., Joe Schmoe in Backwater, USA paid $67.50 for an interesting and rare antique paino. Did he get a good deal. Now the free advice: If you think it would be fun to write and maintain a web page, do it. It's alot cheaper than a bass boat and a 2nd home at the lake.
