Hi List, First l want to introduce myself. Wim Vermeyen, certified tuner and repairer. l live and work in Belgium. l got a client who owns a Broadwood Boudoir grand. The tuning pin's have come loose and it wont stay in tune anymore. The only thing that can be done is restringing. So far so good; BUT... these types of grand piano's have got pin's screwed into the iron plate. A colleague of me once said to watch out for this cuz it's a bit tricky . *Have some of you experience with old Broadwood grands?? *What is the correct way to get the job done in a DECENT way?? *Is it possible to enlarge the holes in the plate so it can be restringed like any other grand??? Thanks in advance, Wim Vermeyen Wim's Piano Service wim.vermeyen@advalvas.be
