Hi Z,
In my opinion the best answering machine is voice mail that is call
forwarded to my pager. When someone leaves a message on my voice mail it
pages me within 30 seconds. The voice mail has the best fidelity and I get
the message immediately and can call the person right back if I am near a
phone.
