Headline in Billings Gazette this morning. Montana Man Dies of Hantavirus.

A 36-year-old Montana farmer died of hantavirus after apparently coming in contact with mice residue in the farm buildings. He entered the hospital with flu like symptoms on July and died on July 11. This deadly virus works quickly.

The news story listed a web page to inform the public of this deadly virus.

It's puzzling why this virus is now present. Some of us have been shoveling mice droppings from pianos for over 40 years with no problem. What is the factor?

The news story today indicated people might have come in contact with the disease many times and our immune system does its job. It's believed some people are more suseptible than others.

Guess it's time to get with the program and acquire some masks and whatever to use when cleaning pianos.
