Hi James,
I'm only about 1/2 hour south of the fires. I'm getting the smoke big
time but I'm in no danger yet. The good news is that firefighters from
Georgia, South Carolina, Louisiana and other parts of the country have come
in to help. I like this idea better than the government stepping in. We
can do it ourselves. I think those other countries could help themselves
too, but we seem to be compelled to step in whether they want us to or not.
It gives one a good feeling to help others. I, personally, don't get much
of a feeling when our government steps in without a welcome.
