Thanks, it is good to be back, although I am hoping to retrun to Cuba soon. Kimballs were originally made is Chicago which was a very competative market around the turn of the century. Kimball make very good pianos then. They were not in the league with S&S or M&H, but they were quite good instruments. There small grands are very rebuildable. Unfortunately they used brass flanges on the dampers and brass butt plates in their uprights which makes them more difficult to work on. Newton
