Yamaha-Schimmel

Hi All,
It wouldn't be because Stimuli is building a high quality instrument in
smaller numbers which makes them sort of exclusive or that Schimmel has
some great engineering know how.
Remember 60 years or so ago Yamaha hired away some top flight engineering
types from Bechstein to help improve Yamahas designs. They kind of paid
them like astronomical amount to lure them. With Samick having Fenner
maybe the "superior German design" is coming into play again?
Maybe this will be how Yamaha is going to get this different sound that
Del would like competing brands to have. What fun to speculate.
