..wow..for once I feel I can chime in intelligently..?..

..that old dawg Ralph is right on the money..working for the Baldwin
Dealership in this area has led me to many an Acro in various conditions..if
it's been 15 years since it's been tuned, I pitch correct and fine tune with
the SAT..if it's close, I tune aurally..I have found that in either case, I
leave the customer smiling..

..there's alot of false beating going on in Octaves 6 and 7 in some of those
50's and 60's Acros..the SAT does a great job in hearing through them..and I
have found, when testing myself against the SAT, there's little to no
difference when tuning through the false beats..

..Mark, don't knock yourself out..keep the unisons tight..and whatever
temperment you set is probably better than the last temperment that was set
on it..
