<< A friend with a piano with a natural wood finish (that's all I know
about it) has asked how best to remove a water stain. The kind that
occurs when someone without thinking sets a glass of water on the piano
and leaves it for a couple of days.... Thanks for the help >>

Just get some plain lemon oil furniture polish, some Comet or Ajax cleanser
and a rag. Put oil liberally on the problem. Also dust on the cleanser so
it is thoroughly covering the oil. Now, with the rag, rub on the water mark
and surrounding area with the grain of the wood. The abraisive in the
cleanser will remove the watermark. When you see that the mark is gone, wipe
up all the cleanser and excess oil then oil the entire surface evenly.
