Hi Bill: Yesterday I finally tuned my Steinway L completely using your Victorianized Modified Meantone tuning which you sent me about a year ago. I was amazed how well I like the sound. Yes, it does have good key color, but there are no bad 5ths or 4ths, but very distinct variation in the 3rds which musically sound fine. The amount of stretch which you incorporated in the tuning was also very good. The whole piano sounds better in tune. Jim Coleman, Sr.
