drop actions

It would help if we knew which spinet drop action needs to be removed.
I've only removed the keys once or twice, too much work.

For the old Baldwin acrosonic I take the last two dampers off their wires
and place on the bass and trebble lifter rod posts above the bushed rail
that holds them in place. This way everything stays in position as you
carefully lift out the action.

On the newer Baldwin spinets with the metal fork at the rear of the key.
One can carefully remove all the donut and wire assemblies from the forks
and place the donut on top of the fork. Then very carefully ease the
action up out of the cavity, letting the wires flop over onto the key
cover. For reinstalation I set the action on the back of the key cover,
make sure no wires are crossed then carefully slide the action back so
that the wires land in the forks. Finally don't forget to replace all the
donuts in the forks. (Don't Ask!)
