It is a reasonable compromise and the instrument may well have been designed for that pitch. While there are many pitch raises you can and should do by just jacking it right on up, don't do that with this one. Go 10¢ at a time. It will, of course, take numerous passes to do this, each one 20-30 minutes. Decide how much you are going to do between you and the customer. The decision should be on how much she wants to pay for this tuning and how long and hard you want to work on it on any given day. This is a very special instrument and so the amount that it costs to get it tuned at whatever pitch it ends up being should be a very special price ($$$!!!). Go for it!
