Where the bridge moves and maybe the bridge pins, the tuning pin has
none of this motion. The only instance where the coil could become less
tight (once it has been set) is for a tuner to let the tension down a
little too
much during the 'friction release' portion of the tuning procedure.

Could even the slight nudges for this release have an effect on either the
compactness or wrap tension, minuscule perhaps. I would think negligible.
