Hi Bill

I rarely post on this list, I'm one of those lurkers but I find you an
interesting personalitiy and I would like to share a few thoughts with the
list. I think you misunderstand what the list finds so annoying with you.
In reading your posts I get the feeling that you think you are the little
boy pointing out that the emperor has no clothes and that responses to your
posts are attempts to censor you. As far as I know this is an open forum for
those interested in the subject of piano technology and I don't think anyone
is interested in censoring you or being censored by you. Whether or not
someone follows your particular philosophy or not doesn't make that person
full of baloney, just different. For the sake of argument, just suppose Jim
Bryant really thinks the Steinway 1098 is a piece of junk and expresses that
particular sentiment in a post. I don't feel threated by his opinion, it
doesn't change how I feel about the 1098, in fact, I have no emotional
response to what is just another opinion. I think you need to ask yourself
why you care if someone expresses an opinion that is different than yours.
