String Levelling questions

Whatever the reasons that contribute to the phenomina of unlevel strings in
the speaking length, they are found in both grand and upright pianos.

And whatever reasonable efforts are applied to correct the string level
discrepancies with one another before manipulating the hammers greatly
enhances the opportunity to improve the tone of the piano.
