Hi, Clyde,

SOunds good.

Drill before gluing.

Use 7/15" Carriage bolts and drill a 1/2" hole.  You will need to get
the right length so measure the thickness of the block.

When the holes are drilled and all cleaned up work medium to low
viscosity epoxy into the crack then tighten the bolts and clamps until
you get some squeeze out.  Let set for 24 hours, rmove clamps cut off
excess bolt lengths, and tune, tune, tune.
