When you are on standby you have the obligation to immediately meet the
needs of the pianist, to keep your listening critical, keep notes of
where voicing needs doing and to stop a recording session if something
goes wrong like a squeak in a pedal that no one else may notice.

I charge the full monte because even if I can do nothing during a
performance I will note what needs doing for the next tuning.
