A troubled technician in "the creek"

Dear Colleagues,

After having followed the discussion about the trouble in the Steinway I was working on, I have to tell you that I received (on this list and private) very much valuable information from many colleagues.
It shows time and again, that this list is >>THE<< place for the exchange of knowledge and experience.

If there is a case where I can be of help, I will certainly not hesitate, and jump in to be of any assistance.

I also noticed, that it is very good to acknowledge the limits of our own experience and...that it is virtually impossible for just one person to be a master in all the disciplines of piano servicing and repairing.
I am for instance not very much experienced in soundboard work, pinblocks and case work, but I rely heavily on my colleagues on this List and here in Holland.
