Tuning in general

I agree with this method.  The complaint I have heard from many tuners is
that they are not fast enough to do this and make money.  I suggest that
they start by tuning the midrange of the piano twice only.  When they can
tune that section twice and the rest piano in an acceptible amount of time,
expand the section you tune twice. Repeat this exersize untill you are
tuning the whole piano twice. If one works at it they will find that within
a year they are going through the piano twice in the same amount of time it
once took to do it once and with better results.
