 1) the shut-off pneumatic is
>simple emough that you can probably fabricate one from scratch in less
>time than it will take to rebuild the malfunctioning original which was
>always pulling off to the side and missing the shut-off switch by about
>1/2".

That's what I thought at first and I indeed made a simple pneu but learnt
that it gotta have a valve in it ass well.

 3) It's a good thing that
>previous teknishun wasn't a perfekshunist, because if he had kept re-
>moving parts in an effort to correct problems, right now you'd be star-
>ing at an empty spot on the showroom floor and the only things remaining
>would be the caster impressions in the rug! The best thing about those
>modern Aeolian players was that by comparison they made a HC Bay jumker
>from the 20's look like a technical marvel from the golden age of the
>player piano.

Some tekni$hun$ aren't thimking right when they get into these things. I
don't think this one had a brain. Perhaps he was operating on some
chemical reaction between atomic saurkraut (Kim Che(sp)) and raw cucumbers.

I'll inquire the MMD next.
