Yo list, Some teknishun decided to fix an Aeolian player (60's vintage) by removing parts until the problem quite!@%@@!! You read right folks. I managed to put it all back together at the dealership previous to a sale when the missing parts mysteriously showed up laying in the spool box a few days after my initial findings. The sale fell through, the piano returned (kinda like a homing pidgeon) and a few weeks later, wouldn't ya know, them parts evaporated!! AGAIN!!! This is truly amazing. Well, I put up the usual fuss about all this and notified all the 2ners I could think of that might have worked on it, but to no avail. Soooooo I'm now in need of the following ....... auto shut off pneumatic (lower left outside spoolbox pushes on white micro switch) motor governor return spring (about maybe 6" long with loops on each leg for screws) auto tracker return spring (don't remember dimensions, two loops style as above) The new owner wants the piano to be complete, and I tend to agree. I'm reminded of the grown men in China that have little boy voices, when they are retired from active service to the throne, they're handed a glass jar containing the rest of their bodies. Sorry it's been a long day.
