..there is no way you can fault an SAT tuning..it is used for testing
potential RPT's..that in itself should be proof enough.

..i swing both ways, Aurally and Visually..and when I'm tuning aurally, the
SAT is there acting as a tudor, telling me to *bring it back a little* when
i'm tuning the 6th and 7th octaves..and..to stretch that 4th a little more
in the temperment..it's not a crutch, it's a guide.

..the recent tune-off at the Convention shows a pretty even split between 2
very accomplished technicians..

..Jim Coleman has perfected the Visual aspect of tuning to the point where
there is no real difference to us technicians..at least that's what I got
out of the tune-off..
