Hi Horace, Is it? Define "toxic" please. I know it's pretty damned hard on lungs, but I haven't run into any problems using it on bridge pins though, I'll admit, I haven't tried it on non-plated steel like music wire. Is it a PH thing? What IS the PH of this stuff a nyway?
