Hi John:

I would suggest that you pull the action stack and take a picture of the
indentations on the wippen cloth for his evidence.

If you should do the job, assuming the hammer shank lengths are correct,
you will have the job of relocating the capstans screws.  It's not that
difficult. Measure how far the capstans will have to be moved forward to
place them in the center of the wippen cloth.  It may be that the align-
ment is worse at one end of the keyboard than the other.  At any rate,
do about 4 samples and check out the change needed in keydip etc.
before you plug all of the old holes, scribe a new capstan line on the
keys and redrill.  Let-off and drop will not need to be changed unless
the whole action needs regulation anyway.  Keydip will be changed and
the touch will be lighter.  Backchecks will need some adjustment since
the keys will be dipping deeper (unless you shorten the hammer stroke).
