A thirty year old J&C Fischer console exhibits asymmetrical damper lift(even but tilted) accompanied by a creepy groan when the pedal is depressed. The problem was not a broken rod hanger and the groan had nothing to do with the trap work. The rod underfelt was fine and the levers were okay. What did I find? Warren -- Warren D.
