A Tough piano question

The modulus of elasticity (Youngs Modulus) is very similar for all steels.
Higher strength steels just allow you to stretch them further before they
break, but elastic stretch per applied force In/lb should be very close.

Short answer is that if you keep the same diameter wires you should be ok;
your tension to achieve a particular frequency should not noticably change.
