Convention request

Marcel Carey, RPT and David Skolnik wondered if anyone would/could post
"dailies" from the convention.

I know that there will be several techs with computers at the convention
(I will), and that there will be a means of checking email, etc. Although
I don't want to be held, hard and fast, to doing so, I'll try to grab a
few choice things to post while I'm there. You can bet that any or all
results from the Council meeting will be posted almost simultaneous to
their occurrance -- if anyone cares.

Also, I'm hoping that we'll be able to set up a terminal for a "live from
the convention" chat connection. I'll try to keep the list apprised of any
developments in that direction.
