Some like to "bolster" the knuckle by threading yarn or bushing felt
strips through the knuckle. I've not been one to ever make the knuckle
bigger tho. I'd probably lube them as well as possible and see how that
does first.

For some reason whenever I have to repin (particularly hammer shanks) I
nearly need to start over regulating. Obviously the parts have to come
off so hammer spacing etc. has to be done. If you've replaced a pin that
was slightly bent, retraveling and fitting to strings is necessary.
Repinning is not something I'd be brave enough to do unless I had a few
days to get the piano back up and running.
