I've not been one to ever make the knuckle bigger tho. I'd probably lube them as well as possible and see how that does first. > 4. For some reason whenever I have to repin (particularly hammer shanks) I nearly need to start over regulating. Obviously the parts have to come off so hammer spacing etc. has to be done. If you've replaced a pin that was slightly bent, retraveling and fitting to strings is necessary. Repinning is not something I'd be brave enough to do unless I had a few days to get the piano back up and running. dave _______________________________________________ David M.
