Hi Dave: I hear you, LOUD and clear. As I've said before, hearing protection is so essential that I don't leave home without it. My audiologist is as pleased as I am that I still have dog-hearing, and this can be attributed to using the hearing protection whenever the need arises, whether or not I am anywhere near a piano being tuned. Y'know what? I find myself in a better mood to deal with customers on touchy matters if my hearing didn't get blown out by nasty pianos (or anything else). There we have it -- a pair of small tools whose usefulness covers many areas, including those that are virtually impossible to measure in dollars and cents, cents-deviation and nonsense. ZR!
