Actually, around here it makes a big difference who is in the White House.  Not
so much who, as who else?  When there is a change of administrations, a lot of
new people move in, and the old ones don't want to move out.  And with a new
administration, embassy activity and other official activity increases.
Inaugural activities are deeper (more parties, more places) with a change in
administration, and state visits increase.  All great for business in the DC
area...
