Richard-

You wrote about using CA glue with white spray paint for gluing
ivories:

Ed Dryburgh was passing on information that had been given him,
recommending Krylon brand. I had some cheap Wal-Mart stuff that was
probably $1.50 a can (or less) and I tried that, and have been
satisfied with the results.

If you have ever tried to deal with ivories that a customer has stuck
down (why do they always get them crooked?) with CA glue, you know that
they stick like forever. Evidently the paint does not hinder the bond.

If I had to unstick one, I would try working the super solvent under,
that comes with the starter kit of Dryburgh's CA glue; if that fails
try acetone, being of course careful not to get any on the key front.
