Avery: Try some invisable scotch tape on the lock. Cut it with a rasor blade and it is only noticable if you are looking for it. The brass pitman I'd use the protek MP? (the thick stuff). I've become a big believer in that. I have a kitchen drawer that has worked well for a couple of years after putting that on the runners.
