I have put stringing braid under the strut on a B here at SMU. You don't need to file anything. If the strut were that tight it wouldn't buzz. Just take it out, put string braid in the ends where metal touches metal and put the screws back in. I did that on a B here 10 years ago and it still sounds fine. dave _______________________________________________ David M.
