And remember that there are TWO flap valves per pneumatic: one for the intake ports and one for the exhaust ports. The intake flap must seal airtight when the preumatic is collapsing, and the exhaust flap valve must seal airtight when the pneumatic is expanding. Don't go by how the leather LOOKS.
