Stan and All, I have seen this resignation letter. It is very disturbing. I am new to the guild as of about 5 years ago. In my opinion, Fern Henry has been one of the most inspirational, competent, respected, and worthwhile leaders the PTG has ever had or will ever have. Bill Spurlock is a solid, steady provider of some of the most practical and useful information for us as technicians. These two people have provided more time and effort (for YOU and ME) than most of us could realize. I can't even begin to imagine what the problem could have been or why anyone would go out of their way, especially a "Professional" organization like the PTG, to defame their good names. Does anyone know what happened? If there is a way to rally behind Bill and Fern, count me in. "Something's rotten in Denmark!" John Piesik San Diego Chapter PTG JPIESIK@ARINC.COM Dear fellow PTG members, Buried in the rather dry reading of the recent PTJ Supplement Update (included in the May issue of the Journal), is a letter of resignation by Fern Henry, RPT of membership in PTG. If you haven't already, I will encourage each of you to read this letter, become familiar with the issues and contact your RVP to voice your opposition to personal attacks on the character of our volunteer leaders. Both Fern Henry and Bill Spurlock have been tireless promoters of PTG and I, personally, am not willing to have them disappear from the pages of the Journal or the implementation of PTG's goals. Let's throw the support of the silent majority behind these dedicated individuals. Perhaps words of encouragement might be sent to Fern and Bill via email, snailmail or voicemail. Best regards to all, Stan M. Kroeker, RPT
