Ed and Newton:
for what its worth...
We began to replace our broken
benches w/ the jansen "stringer"
5 years ago....as funds become
available....those benches have held
up better than all the others....
the trouble is..the faculty seem to
find them and take them to their
studios....
As for music stands....when i was at
hartt school of music...the stands
were on long chains anchored into
the cement floor....they "seemed" to
stay in the rooms....but that was 14
yrs ago...! We haven't chained them
here....and they do roam around!
But i guess that's a problem for the
administration and not the tuner/tech,
huh?
