bass to treble break problem

The situation I described occurs on many makes and models of piano.  My own
20 year old Acrosonic console does it.  I've seen it mostly in Baldwin
uprights, but I know it's in other brands as well.  In all cases the first
treble note is a wrapped-wire bichord. Hope this helps Willem.
