WD-40

Alright folks. Let's get this straight.

WD-40, or anything with a PETROLEUM PRODUCT in it is NO GOOD. Why? Because
petroleum products break down the cellulose in the wood. So, unless you like to
ruin pianos, or unless you would like to be sued (and rightly so) for damage to
a piano, then stop using these products.

On the other hand, Protek is meant for lubrication in and around wood. It
contains no petroleum products. It doesn't attract dust. And it doesn't stink.
Last but not least, your customer will be impressed that you use a lubricant
made especially for pianos.
