When I install the hammers, the upper action is removed from the keyframe.
 To test the 'trials', the action must be on the keyframe, of course.  And
the extra-long new shanks get in the way of the backchecks.  I simply bend
the troublesome backchecks back a bit to get them out of the way - a quick
and dirty temporary solution.  Sometimes, if I'm testing the suitability of
particular new-par combinations, I'll trim the length of the trial shanks
instead, so I can regulate a complete note or two, using the same trial
notes.
