There are several new contact cements (Elmers for one) that are latex based
and will not dissolve the keytop.  By the way a small depression in a keytom
caused by the old contact cement can be buffed out with a leather butt and
Key Buffing Compound.This is a product used for buffing clarinet, flute keys
etc.  Do try to use tripoli or even jeweler's rouge on key tops.  The
