The next generation of electronic piano tuning devices is here! Reyburn Piano Service, Inc., provider of professional support products for the piano technician since 1983, is proud to announce the release of Reyburn CyberTuner version 1.0 for the Macintosh. Reyburn CyberTuner (RCT) is software that turns a Macintosh computer (040 or PowerPC) into a stand-alone electronic visual tuning aid. No other hardware is needed. Reyburn CyberTuner is a suite of 4 software modules: Chameleon 2, CyberEar, Pianalyzer, and MIDI/File Management. To tune a piano, use Chameleon 2 to calculate cents readings for all 88 notes. Then use CyberEar as a visual aid while you tune the strings. (CyberEar also accepts data from the Sanderson Accu Tuner, Tuning Manager, or recorded aural tunings.) Pianalyzer is a specialized piano spectrum analyzer. For any note, Pianalyzer measures partials 1-8, 10, and 12 for power, sustain, and cents deviation. MIDI/File Management enables tuning record editing, storage and transfer of tuning records between Reyburn CyberTuner and a MIDI-capable SAT.
